Customers say they like to add slivered almonds, julienned carrots, diced cooked pheasant, and splashes of sherry. If desired, add cubed cooked chicken or ham. Ready in 30 minutes. Makes 8 cups. A thick, rich cheesy soup that you prepare like you are making homemade gravy. (Add and stir. Add a bit more and stir.) For fun, garnish with with popcorn or bagel chips.
