To match Taylor Jenkins Reid's emotional romance novel One True Loves, I chose candle scents that reflect the story's themes of ocean travel, coastal New England, and balancing an old flame with a new beginning.

• Ocean Salt and Sandalwood: Captures Jesse and Emma's early globe-trotting adventures and the tragic helicopter crash over the Pacific.
• Blue Spruce and Winter Chalet: Evokes the quiet, grounding atmosphere of returning home to Massachusetts to rebuild a life and their cabin weekend away that revealed Emma's heart.
• Warm Amber and Vanilla: Represents the comforting, stable warmth of finding an unexpected second chance at love with Sam.
• Old Books and Paper: Nods to the family bookstore background and the nostalgic journey of figuring out who you are.

Now to showcase those scents above, I split them up between the two loves:

Top Green Scent: Meant to represent the earthy travels with her first love as well as the winter cabin scene where she realizes that her old love might not be her future. Such a huge turning point into her new life. Smells of aquatic sandalwood mixed with winter chalet and blue spruce vibes. 

Bottom White Scent: Equal parts amber, vanilla, and old books. Meant to represent Emma settling into her new life with Sam and the bookstore.

The colors were meant to split the two true loves but for a brief moment, they'll mix together just like the part of the book where her heart was torn between the two loves.

To keep it burning like the awesome candle it is, be sure to trim the wicks every time you light them. Note: these candles are homemade and hand poured, so please keep in mind that there might be an imperfection here and there.
